Yulia Tymoshenko, a candidate for president of Ukraine, proposed organizing a round-table conference in Donetsk to discuss national consolidation, Interfax reports.
She said that holding such a meeting in Kiev, 800km from the center of confrontation, would be unacceptable and inefficient for representatives of the Donetsk, Luhansk and eastern movements.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk and acting President Alexander Turchynov proposed round-table conferences to discuss key issues, such as constitutional reform. They want negotiations to be organized all over the country in order for all interested sides to attend.
