Ukrainian acting president threatens to ban Communist Party

Oleksandr Turchynov, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament and acting president, suspects the Communist Party of Ukraine of terrorism and separatism and threatens to ban it, RIA Novosti reports.

Alexander Golub, a member of parliament, said that the party was the only force uncontrolled by the Kiev government. He added that banning the party was illegal and would not affect it. Should the party be banned, it will address the European Parliament.
