Berkut police commandoes did not shoot at protesters during the tragic events in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv in February, a Ukrainian parliamentary investigative committee concluded after an expert analysis of cartridges and bullets used by the snipers,
ITAR-TASS reports on Tuesday.
The head of the committee, Gennady Moskal, believes that representatives of public organizations getting out of control could have been shooting at demonstrators.
“Any person could infiltrate the ranks of the protest movement under the guise of fighting the incumbent authorities," the lawmaker is quoted as saying.
