French President François Hollande supports the idea of Europe's cooperation with Georgia in the sphere of energy. The French leader said so while addressing attendees of the Tbilisi Economic Forum, which is currently being held in Georgia.
"Georgia does not produce energy, but it is an important transit country," he said. It will be beneficial for both Europe and Georgia if they use this opportunity, the French president believes.
