Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin has presented a new resolution project for Syria to the UN Security Council. The document focuses on the humanitarian aspects of the Syrian situation and encourages dialogue in the context of the May 2 cease-fire, ITAR-TASS reports.
Churkin emphasized that the Russian resolution was not a response to France’s project on addressing the International Criminal Court in Hague a week ago.
