Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the Ministry of Finance to make recommendations on a reduction of 10% of state functionaries by July 1, RIA Novosti reports.The idea of making 10% of officials redundant appeared in April. Such initiatives have been realized in the past, when a fifth of functionaries lost their jobs.Minister for Open Government Mikhail Abyzov proposed a reduction of 10% and then 10% more. He wanted a scrupulous audit and a reformation of staff policy.
