The acting head of Crimea, the chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksenov said that the State Council of Crimea intends to give official status to the militia of the republic, which was transformed into the self-defense forces of Crimea during the referendum.
Aksenov said that today the self-defense units perform the duties of maintaining public order.
