About 600,000 Egyptians abroad have started voting for president at over 120 diplomatic missions all over the world, RIA Novosti reports.
No polling stations have been opened in Libya, Syria and Somalia where the situation is unstable.
The two candidates for election are socialist Nasserist Hamdeen Sabahi and Defense Minister Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The latter is the favourite.
