The integration of Georgia into NATO is irreversible, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said today, responding to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s fears that Georgia and Ukraine would be pulled into the alliance, Trend reports.
The Georgian diplomat noted that European partners and the U.S. were confident in the fact. He added that sufficient progress had already been achieved in the integration process.
