The Armenian government proposes classifying expenses for the food of the president, speaker of parliament and the prime minister, Armenia Today reports.
The opposition said yesterday that the idea of classifying food expenses appeared after the scandal surrounding Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s spending of about $200,000 during a visit. Deputy Director of the NSS Arzumyan Arutyunyan indirectly confirmed the expenses.
Speaker of Parliament Galust Saakyan explained that classification of information about food and visits will not make a secret out of the president's and the prime minister’s expenses.
