Oleksandr Turchynov, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament and the acting president, has urged the east of Ukraine to support the counter-terrorism operation, RIA Novosti reports.
In his words, separatists and terrorists were a threat to citizens and their welfare. He reminded that they were blocking payments of pensions and wages.
The acting president encourages the population of the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts to help fight terrorism and separatism.
