Spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov said that information about Crimean conscripts being sent to Dagestan for service was false, ITAR-TASS reports.
The official noted that the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces had not ordered any drafts in Crimea and Sevastopol in 2014. Conscription in the annexed territories will start in 2015 and most conscripts will serve in their region.
