Kazakhstan proposes formation of Asian analogue of OSCE

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has proposed the formation of an Organization for Security and Development of Asia, an Asian analogue of the OSCE, at the 4th CICA summit today.He noted that the West could not develop without the East and its traditions. The Kazakh leader reminded that the global economic crisis of 2008 was continuing and had an impact on the financial-economic, socio-political and cultural dimensions of life all over the world.
