Ukrainian ex-President Victor Yanukovych said that he respected the choice Ukraine had made on Sunday, ITAR-TASS reports.
He noted, however, that the legitimacy of the elections required participation of the south-eastern part of the country in the elections.
Petro Poroshenko has 53.71% of votes, according to 60% of ballots processed.
