Yerevan: Opposition protest

A meeting of the Armenian National Congress turned into a
demonstration, in which thousands of opposition supporters
participated . A column of demonstrations was led by the ANK leader,
the first Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and leaders of other
opposition parties. The participants walked through the center of the
city demanding the President's retirement. In front of the column
walked young people dressed in prison costumes, symbolising the
existence of political prisoners in Armenia, reports Armenia Today.
