The head of Turkmenistan appoints deputy chairman of two state-owned banks

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a number of decrees on appointments in the country's banking sector .

According to the documents, Guvanch Halmuhammedov has been appointed the deputy chairman of the state commercial bank  " Dayhanbank "; Toyly Nazarov has become deputy chairman of the state commercial bank " Turkmenbashi," Trend reports.

"Dayhanbank " mainly serves public and private agricultural producers , has more than 50 branches in rural areas, through which it provides loans for agricultural projects by short-term credit lines.

"Turkmenbashibank" serves oil and gas, energy sector, transport and communications, construction and building materials, chemical industry and trade.
