Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania said at a conference on energy security in Germany yesterday that Georgia, being a partner of Azerbaijan and Turkey, will make a significant contribution to energy security in Europe, Trend reports.
The minister emphasized the transit potential of the country. He reminded that achievements of Georgia in the past years, swift reforms of state structures, the judicial system, readiness to sign the EU association agreement had been discussed and will give opportunities for rapprochement with Europe.
