Turkish parliament may set qualification age of 18 for membership

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on May 29 that the qualification age to become a member of parliament may be reduced to 18 years.


Speaking at the conference "Our ancient civilization and Great Turkey" in Istanbul, Erdogan noted that the Justice and Development Party had changed the age qualification from 30 to 25 years.
