Israeli PM calls for non-recognition of Palestinian government

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu says the international community should not recognize the new government of Palestine, the formation of which has recently been announced by Mahmoud Abbas.

"I urge the international community not to recognize the government, which includes Hamas," the Israeli prime minister is quoted as saying by Interfax. "Hamas is a terrorist organization, which calls for destruction of Israel."
