Justice and Development Party chooses candidate for president of Turkey

Turkish Vice Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that the ruling party had chosen a candidate for the presidential polls set for August 10, 2014, Trend reports.

Arinc has not named the candidate. However, he noted that the figure was pretty obvious. The vice prime minister said that support from the majority of the population and the results of the municipal elections inspired optimism that the Turkish prime minister could be elected as the president.
