U.S. Assistant Defense Secretary Derek Chollet said that he had met a deputy vice prime minister of Ukraine, head of the National Defense and Security Council, acting defense minister, ITAR-TASS reports.
In his words, Ukraine presented a list of self-defense means, food. He said that Ukraine should keep ties with Russia, diversify industry and align with Russia. The assistant secretary added that the U.S. will continue supporting Ukraine and will impose new sanctions on Russia if necessary. He reminded that European partners had already imposed sanctions on Russia and could impose more.
