Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister David Cameron may meet in Normandy on June 6 to mark the anniversary of Operation Overlord, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, ITAR-TASS reports.
Putin’s Aide Yuri Ushakov said that the president will meet his French counterpart Francois Hollande in Paris, attend the anniversary ceremony on June 6. It will be Putin’s first visit to Western Europe since the start of the Ukraine crisis.
