Obama asks Congress for $1 billion to enforce military presence in Europe

U.S. President Barack Obama has asked the Congress to grant $1 billion to enforce troops in the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, improve military potential of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, Lenta.ru reports.

The request was provoked by concerns of NATO allied worried about Russia’s actions in Ukraine. Obama told about the military-enforcement plans on his visit to Poland, where his four-day tour had started. Having landed in Warsaw, Obama assured that the U.S. regarded European security as seriously as its own.
