US President Baraack Obama threatens Russia with new sanctions if the country continues its efforts to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, Interfax reports on Tuesday.
The US president says Washington wants good relations with Russia and is not interested in threatening it, but said that sanctions imposed over its Crimea annexation would be maintained and that more have been drawn up in case of further destabilization in the east.
