U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Francis Ricciardone said that the U.S. and Turkey remained allies in many issues and rumours about tensions between the two states were false.
Some Turkish media said that the U.S. was disappointed with the home policy of Ankara and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s accusations of U.S. channels’ misinforming the world public about the events in Turkey.
