The Egyptian representative to Tehran, Halid al-Sayid Ibragim Amari, handed Iran an invitation for President Hassan Rouhani to attend the inauguration of new Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Trend reports.
El-Sisi won the elections with 96.9% of the votes. Yesterday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry called the elections in Egypt a step towards democratization and stability in the country.
