No green spaces will be demolished in the city of Sochi, Sochi Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov told attendees at an ecology academic workshop today. Moreover, Sochi City Hall plans to lay out new parks in the city, Yuga.ru reports.
"We are trying not to damage green areas during construction of new buildings. We are also going to establish new green spaces in the city," the mayor is quoted as saying.
