Abdullah bin Mohammed an-Nasir, the head of the Saudi-Arabia-Azerbaijan parliamentary friendship group, said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister that Saudi Arabia was among the first countries to recognize independence of Azerbaijan and condemn occupation of its territory by Armenia.
