Petro Poroshenko was sworn in as the new president of Ukraine on Saturday. Poroshenko won over 50 percent of the vote in the recent presidential elections and secured victory in the first round.
Poroshenko's first move as the new president of the country was to sign a document saying he is now the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army.
