Residents of Sevastopol to live below minimal wage

Sevastopol Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Svechnikov said that residents of Sevastopol will live below the average wage in Russia. He said the situation will improve in two years, after the Kerch Bridge is built, ITAR-TASS reports.


Local deputies adopted a local market basket law for 5 years. It determines the minimum wage, adjusting it every quarter. The exact minimum wage will be announced in August.
