Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania has denied rumours that Georgia is planning to place an anti-missile system on its territory.
"I emphasize once again, we are talking about an air defense system which is aimed at defense only and has nothing to do with anti-missile systems," Georgia-News quotes him as saying.
Earlier, spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich claimed that Georgia is planning to place an anti-missile defense system in the country.
