Sevastopol FC to take part in Ukrainian Championship

The Sevastopol Football Club is going to take part in the Ukrainian National Championship, the club's owner Vadim Novinsky is quoted as saying by Sports.ru.

The city of Sevastopol has joined the Russian Federation along with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea this year. The Ukrainian authorities do not recognize the move and condemn it as a Russian occupation of the region. Ukraine's position is backed by the UN, the US and the EU.
