The self-proclaimed People's Republic of Luhansk wants to sign an alliance with Russia and join the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and the Eurasian Economic Union by the end of 2015, RIA Novosti cites the so-called republic's government as saying on its website.
According to the statement, issued by the separatists they want "a joint political, economic and cultural space with Russia."
