Herbert Zalber is appointed special representative of the EU in the South Caucasus

 

Herbert Salber will replace Philippe Lefort as the Special Representative of the European Union in the South Caucasus.Its candidate was offered by the head of diplomacy of the European Union Catherine Ashton and was approval by all EU member states.Herbert Zalber began his diplomatic career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. He has worked in Serbia, Austria and Russia.Later he headed the OSCE office in Kazakhstan and the Center for OSCE conflict prevention, Trend reports.
