The gas talks held by representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the EU in Kyiv last night produced no results, spokesman of Russia's gas-producing giant Gazprom Sergey Kupriyanov is quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
Gazprom demands that Ukraine should pay $1.9 billion by June 16th, otherwise the company is ready to suspend gas deliveries, if the country does not pay in advance.
