Georgian Dream wins municipal electionsAccording to preliminary data of the Central Electoral Committee of Georgia, votes of 1166 out of 3637 ballot stations have been counted. Georgian Dream managed to gain more than half of the votes at the municipal elections which took place yesterday.The ruling coalition got 50.74% of votes in the country, the opposition United National Movement – 23.13%. Third place was taken by Nino Burdzhanadze’s United Georgia (10.26%).Georgian Dream got 45.86% of the votes at the elections to the Tbilisi council, the UNM – 26.52%, United Georgia – 10.51%.Vote counting continues.
