NATO Parliamentary Assembly conducts workshop in BakuThe 86th workshop of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is opening in Baku today. The topic of the workshop is the challenges and abilities of the South Caucasus. The speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ogtai Asadov, the chairman of the NATO PA Hugh Bayley, the Swiss ambassador to Baku Pascal Eibischer, and the head of the British non-governmental organization LINKS Dennis Sammut took part in the workshop.The workshop will include sessions on “Priorities of Foreign Policy and the Security of Azerbaijan and the European-Atlantic Integration,” “The Settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict,” and “The European-Atlantic Path of Georgia: Prospects and Challenges.”A delegation from Armenia will take part in the workshop.
