Iran doesn't intend to cooperate with the USA on the issue of settlement of the crisis which has erupted in recent days in Iraq, the secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security of the Islamic Republic, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani declared. Thus he denied reports which have appeared in a number of western mass media on the readiness of Tehran and Washington to solve this problem together.
He also accused the USA of preparing the ground for the emergence of such a terrorist organization as "The Islamic State of Iraq and Levant" (ISIS), and he expressed the opinion that allies of the United States in the Middle East are giving the extremists material and financial support.
