It's in Russia's best interests to back Azerbaijan in the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov said following Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's official visit to Baku.
"Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus, with the largest population, a stable political system and human resources. Azerbaijan could be a very important partner for Russia. I believe it's in Russia's best interests to support Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabkh conflict resolution," the Azerbaijani official said.
