Three former presidents of Ukraine - Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma and Victor Yuschenko - have come out in support of the peacemaking plan put forward by the head of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko. They called on him to dismiss corrupt officials and stop the “aggressive foreign policy” of Russia.Poroshenko’s plan contains 14 provisions. He said that he would order a ceasefire in the East and declare an amnesty, while local rebels would have an opportunity to lay down arms and leave Ukraine. The plan also involves constitutional reform and decentralization. The former Ukrainian leaders supported a wide dialogue on implementation of Poroshenko’s plan and development of a new edit of the Ukrainian constitution.They also addressed the USA and the EU to destroy the “aggressive foreign policy” of Russia and deny it opportunities to improve its military complex with modern technologies. The former presidents are sure that Ukraine will get guaranteed protection in the system of European security, as well as military and financial aid from the USA and Europe.
