Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a letter to the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The letter must be transmitted by the special representative of the Turkish Prime Minister, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs Firudin Sinirlioglu, now being in Yerevan.
Answering to a reporter's question during the today’s visit to France, Erdogan said that his meeting with Serzh Sargsyan in Washington depends on the response of the Armenian President to the letter sent through his special representative, reports regional media, referring to the TV channel CNN Turk.
"We’ve sent a letter with the special representative in Yerevan. The meeting with Sargsyan in the United States depend on some factors. It is for the President to clarify these points by his answer", Erdogan said.
According to Hurriyet, the letter runs that Turkey true to the signed protocols and ready to show political willingness by promoting the process.
