Members of Crimean government announced

The acting head of Crimea, chairman of the Council of Ministers of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, announced key appointments to the government of the region. The first deputy chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers will be the acting vice-premier Mikhail Sheremet.


Aksenov stated at the session of the Crimean government that the new vice-premiers are Dmitry Polonsky, who is also appointed to the position of Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communication, and Georgy Muratov, who is the permanent envoy of Crimea under the President of Russia.

The Cabinet will include eight vice-premiers. Sergei Aksenov also appointed three new ministers of the regional government – Alexander Zhdanov, the Minister of Householding and Public Utilities, Sergei Yegorov, the Minister of Fuel and Energy, and Ileg Shapavalov, the Minister of Justice.
