The Iranian Veteran Organization intends to sue the US, which is accused of chemical-weapons poisoning of 70 thousand Iranian soldiers during the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988.
The vice-president of Iran on legal affairs will be involved in developing the lawsuit.
Iraq actively used chemical weapons during the Iranian-Iraqi war. The US and other Western countries supplied the regime of Saddam Hussein with the weapons.
