Turkish voters approve constitutional changes



Turkish voters have approved a packet of constitutional changes likely
to bring the country closer to EU membership, the TRT channel said.
The reforms, approved by 58% of voters, were initiated by Prime
Minister Tayyip Erdogan. The reforms consist of 26 points and refer
mainly to the judicial system and the strengthening of democratic
institutions.
