Kazakhstan and Belarus rejected Russia’s proposal at the Eurasian Economic Commission to raise customs fees for Ukraine, Vedomosti reports.
Belarusian Vice Prime Minister Sergey Rumas notes that evaluating the possible risks of Ukraine’s association with the EU for the Customs Union was impossible. He reminded that Ukraine was a member of the CIS free trade zone.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed the EU Association Agreement at the EU summit in Brussels on June 27.
