Russia wants unlimited truce in Ukraine

Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Yevgeny Lukyanov said today that a truce in Ukraine should have no time limits, RIA Novosti reports.

He believes that Novorossiya should be given a chance to express itself. Lukyanov noted that the situation depended on Kiev and the “genocide” in Ukraine should stop.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko declared an end to the truce on July 1. Artillery fire resumed in the center of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. Semenovka, Nikolayevka and Yampol in the Krasnolimansky District were attacked.
