The Russian and Kazakh Defense Ministers, Sergey Shoygu and Serik Akhmetov, have signed a protocol with amendments for the agreement on reception, airfield maintenance and protection of military aircraft in each other’s states, RIA Novosti reports.
The document clarifies billing, fueling and composition of financial documents.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the protocol.
Russia chairs the CIS Council of Defense Ministers. Shoygu arrived in Astana to attend another session of the Council.
