Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze said that her country had achieved progress in strengthening sovereignty and territorial integrity, Trend reports.She stated at a press conference at the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on June 5 that the resolution on status of displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia got 69 votes for and 13 against. The minister noted that 7 additional countries had expressed support for the document since 2013.Georgia will make an unprecedented step towards the NATO at the Wales summit. Panjikidze noted that the progress Georgia had achieved will be highlighted at the summit. Georgia will take part in a dialogue of NATO members for the first time.
