Turkey isn't ready to open the Turkish-Armenian border, the Turkish foreign ministry informs. A statement issued by the body says that media reports that the Turkish authorities have opened the Alijan checkpoint are false.
The border was closed in 1993 after the Azerbaijani-Armenian war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
