Georgian Parliamentary speaker David Bakradze is heading to the USA,
he said that he will deliver a report at a forum of the Community of
Democracies in Washington, Trend reports.
Chairmen of parliaments of Central and Eastern Europe will be at the forum.
The President of the Community of Democracies, Emanuelis Zingeris,
will open the forum. The President of the European Parliament Jerzy
Buzek, US Congress Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Lithuanian Parliamentary
Speaker Irena Digutiene, Moldavian Chairman of Parliament Mihai Ghimpu
and Deputy Chairman of the Polish Senate Zbignev Romazevsky will be at
the forum.
Bakradze will also meet US senators and congressmen, representatives
of the White House administration and non-governmental organizations.
He has also scheduled public speeches on the science sphere.
On September 19 Bakradze will arrive in New York, where he will meet
investors and will attend a summit, under the auspices of the UN, to
discuss development goals of the millennium.
On September 21 he will participate in a summit of the
Interparliamentary union for mobilizing parliamentary support in
developing political goals and plans for the millennium.
